Pay Information

Base pay range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year.

Sign‑on bonus and monthly bonuses offered.

Position Summary

The BCBA will serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional, providing clinical supervision and oversight of programs implemented by supervisors, BCaBAs, and behavior interventionists. The role includes developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising staff, conducting assessments, writing goals, analyzing data, and consulting with families and schools.

Essential Job Functions
  • Designing, developing, and implementing ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or delays.
  • Collaborating with families and other professionals to tailor ABA programs to each client’s specific needs.
  • Directly delivering individual and group learning experiences to assist each client in obtaining treatment goals.
  • Meeting with, training, and supervising mid‑level supervisors/BCaBAs and direct care staff to provide guidance and review progress on goals.
  • Conducting assessments, writing treatment goals, analyzing data, and writing progress reports.
  • Conducting comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments using standardized tools such as VB‑MAPP, ABBLS‑R, Vineland‑III, etc.
  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of behavioral plans for children.
  • Assisting in the development of adaptive skills for individuals to take a more positive role in school, home, and community settings.
  • Providing prescribed behavioral consultation to families and/or schools.
  • Supervising ABA programs to help clients learn skills related to daily routines, coping, play, social interactions, functional communication, task attendance, safety awareness, and self‑help.
  • Empowering parents, caregivers and other support staff to influence clients within their natural routines for greater independence.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, family members, and supporting staff.
  • Defining target behaviors, writing treatment goals, and coordinating evidence‑based programs, reinforcement, antecedent management strategies, protocols, and interventions.
  • Modeling and teaching support staff how to implement intervention strategies and protocols.
  • Setting up and maintaining ABA session schedules and managing adjustments or cancellations.
  • Meeting with families/caregivers in‑clinic or via telehealth weekly to review progress and consult on implementation.
Requirements
  • Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule, including afternoons and evenings.
  • Ability to travel to clients’ homes in service areas.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid California Driver’s license (if working in‑person/hybrid).
  • Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • BCBA certification.
