- Position Summary:
Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the College of Science STEM Grants. - Start Date:
Positions available on or after February 9, 2025 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. - Job Description/Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to: - Assist with delivery of support services offered through the grant, assist with data input, support workshops offered through the grant.
- Offer peer to peer guidance and support to STEM transfer students.
- Visit local community colleges and facilitate workshops and outreach activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications:
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates great communication and leadership skills.
- Maintains at least 3.0 overall GPA.
- A Math and/or a Science student.
- Transfer student from community college preferred.
- Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Salary:
