  • Position Summary
  • Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the College of Science STEM Grants.
  • Start Date
  • Positions available on or after February 9, 2025 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent Bridge Student Assistant positions in the College of Science STEM Grants.

Responsibilities
  • Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with delivery of support services offered through the grant, assist with data input, support workshops offered through the grant.
  • Offer peer to peer guidance and support to STEM transfer students.
  • Visit local community colleges and facilitate workshops and outreach activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preferred Qualifications
    :
  • Demonstrates great communication and leadership skills.
  • Maintains at least 3.0 overall GPA.
  • A Math and/or a Science student.
  • Transfer student from community college preferred.
  • Required Qualifications
    :
  • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Salary

$16.90 per hour.
