TEMPORARY LECTURERS IN NURSING:
The Department of Nursing invites applications for a pool of part‑time teaching appointments. Candidates selected will teach one or more Nursing courses. Availability depends on authorized funding and need.
Teach assigned Nursing courses, prepare lesson materials, evaluate student performance, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Department.
Minimum Qualifications- Unencumbered California RN license.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing for theory courses, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing for Clinical courses.
- If teaching in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program, applicant must have National Nurse Practitioner Certification and unencumbered California FNP license.
- Doctoral Degree.
- Minimum one year teaching experience.

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. New lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3; others in Range
2. Salaries are prorated based on units and paid in six monthly payments per full semester. Salary rates can be found in the CSU salary schedule.
