Faculty Employment OpportunityPart‑time lecturers will be hired to teach undergraduate courses in the Department of Psychology and Child Development. Teaching assignments will generally include courses in Child Development, Adolescent Development, Adulthood and Aging, or a combination of these subjects.
Responsibilities- Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate courses in Child Development and related areas.
- Develop syllabi, instructional materials, and assessment tools that support student learning.
- Adhere to the department’s standards for teaching quality and work with students from diverse populations.
- PhD in Child/Human Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field (preferred). Master’s degree acceptable.
- Prior successful teaching experience at the college level (preferred).
- Evidence of quality teaching and proficiency with diverse student populations.

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. New hires with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule; others in Range
2. Salaries are prorated based on units assigned and paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
