Lecturer in Music. The Department of Music invites applications for part‑time teaching appointments to teach lower and upper division music education courses and specialized instrument lessons. Candidates are encouraged to apply indicating their specialty and teaching experience. The appointment is contingent on availability of authorized funding and need.
Minimum QualificationsA Master’s degree in Music is required.
Preferred QualificationsPrior college‑level teaching experience.
ResponsibilitiesTeach lower and upper division music education courses and specialized instrument lessons.

Commmensurate with qualifications and experience. Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule and others in Range
2. Starting salaries are usually near the minimum of the range. Base salary is prorated based on units assigned and paid monthly in six installments per full semester.
