Operation Manager

Location: Tuzla, İstanbul

• Lead and supervise front‑line supervisors depending on location and associates in outbound or inbound operations in a Fulfillment Centre.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the operation.
• Strategic planning and forecasting; assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, and resolve problems.
• Mentor, train and develop the Area Managers and indirect reports.
• Standard Operating Procedures development and roll‑out.
• Maintain high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
• Think strategically and execute methodically.
• Lead teams and communicate with senior leadership.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
• Committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge.
• Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality.
• Clearly communicate data insights to others.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience, with 2+ years in management in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
• Experience in B2B and B2C shipping and cargo operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Drive process improvements and keep pace with explosive growth while motivating others to meet deadline‑driven challenges.
• Prior experience or use of Lean/Six Sigma.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Fluent in spoken, written and read English and Turkish.
• Familiarity with WMS systems.
