The Network Architect is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise and data center network infrastructures. The role focuses on routing, switching, WAN, LAN, Wireless, SD‑WAN, Core Mobile Technologies and high‑availability services to ensure resilient, scalable, and secure connectivity for business‑critical platforms. The architect collaborates with security, cloud, and application teams to deliver robust network foundations for current and future services.

  • Design and architect enterprise and data center networks covering LAN, WAN, campus, Mobile Private Network (LTE and 5G), and backbone environments.
  • Define network standards, reference architectures, and technical guidelines for routing, switching, and high availability.
  • Lead implementation and migration projects Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISE, and related data center and enterprise technologies.
  • Plan and implement WAN, MPLS, SD‑WAN, LAN, Wireless, Mobile Private Networks (LTE and 5G), and VPN solutions to connect sites, partners, and external services.
  • Ensure network availability, performance, and scalability through capacity planning, optimization, and proactive monitoring.
  • Oversee deployment and configuration of network services such as VLANs, QoS, Wireless, multicast, redundancy protocols, and link aggregation.
  • Integrate network infrastructure with load balancers (e.g., F5 BIG‑IP) to support highly available applications and services.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure network design supports segmentation, zoning, and secure connectivity requirements.
  • Produce high‑quality HLD, LLD, and MOP documents; review and validate designs from internal and external teams.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network incidents and performance issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for circuit provisioning, escalations, and partnership design.
  • Mentor network engineers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to continuous improvement of network engineering practices.
  • Produce designs that are compatible with a CI/CD automated build process.

  • Collaboration with other teams:

Qualifications:
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience
  • 10–15 years of experience in enterprise/network engineering roles.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP variants, Ether Channel).
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms; familiarity with Wireless, ISE, and data center technologies.

  • Experience designing and operating WAN, MPLS, VPN, LAN, Wireless and high‑availability network topologies.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and data center concepts (vPC, VSS, Fabric Path, spine‑leaf, etc.).
  • Familiarity with load balancing and application delivery concepts (F5 BIG‑IP or similar).
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, Cisco Catalyst Center) and packet analyzers (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Strong documentation skills for design, configuration, and operational procedures.
  • Strong analytical thinking ingenious, troubleshooting, and structured problem‑solving ability.
  • Clear and confident communication with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional technical discussions and drive design decisions.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
