Biofuel Commercial
Saras is seeking a Biofuels Commercial, with 2–5 years of experience in Biofuels trading to strengthen its commercial team. The successful candidate will support the development and management of Biofuel commercial activities, working within an international environment and in close collaboration with the Vitol global network.
The role involves frequent engagement with international counterparts and regular business travel, including regular visits to Vitol’s London headquarters and customer locations.
The position of Biofuels Commercial is responsible for commodity origination, marketing and execution within the biofuel book and for an assigned group of customers; it also executes hedging orders and position management.
The position is currently focused on Biofuel, Vegetable Oil feed stocks and HVO commercial optimization, to ensure that sales are fully aligned with the commercial strategies and objectives, working in close coordination with the teams in Milan, Rome, London and Sarroch Refinery (Cagliari), one of the leading oil refining companies in Europe.

Main tasks and responsibilities
The person will enter the team for purchase and sale of biofuels and potentially other petroleum products for the refining and wholesale system. He/She will develop new business opportunities, through a network of international and domestic clients, negotiate sales terms, and ensure that all risk-related aspects are covered in all transactions. The role works in close connection with different functions and requires some soft coordination skills

The candidate will preferably show the following knowledge and skills:
Fluent English (mandatory)
Degree in a numerical discipline (Engineering, Economics, etc)
Market Knowledge and Analysis - Global and regional biofuel markets (biodiesel, ethanol, HVO, vegoil feed stocks)
Sustainability Regulatory understanding
Strong Analytical and Numerical Skills
Communication, Negotiation and Commercial Skills
Risk Management
Problem‑Solving Digital and Data Tools
Excel / advanced spreadsheets
