Budget Controller

Our client, a leading organisation in the Major & Utilities sector, is looking for a  Budget & Cost Controller  with strong experience in digital and data-driven environments. The selected candidate will support financial planning, cost monitoring, and budget management for digital initiatives, working closely with finance, PMO, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage budgets for digital and data-related projects
Monitor costs, forecasts, and budget vs. actuals
Produce regular financial reports and variance analysis
Use  Service Now  for planning, activity tracking, and workflow support
Extract, validate, and reconcile cost data from  SAP
Support project teams with cost allocation and financial forecasting
Serve as liaison with Finance and PMO for periodic alignment

Required Skills & Experience
4–5 years’ experience in  Controlling, Budgeting, or Cost Monitoring
Strong command of budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting
Practical experience using  Service Now  for planning and workflow management
Good working knowledge of  SAP  for financial data extraction
Background in  digital or data-driven environments  (preferred)
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
