Business analyst; temporary

Position: Business analyst (temporary contract)
JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
We are looking for a Business Analyst for our Branch in Borgaro Torinese (TO).
The Business Analyst will be responsible or assisting in the management and control of the global automotive business, specifically for standard operations, air and ocean, determination, control and cost analysis. It is required to work from office (Borgaro Torinese), remote work is not planned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Collect, analyze, and determine data of Business activities, for each product airfreight, ocean freight & Local services, freights, vendors.
Data entry into Cargo wise, ITMS, SAP (customer and Jas operational system).
Interact with Operations to ensure milestone data accurate and up to date. Review and audit to ensure they reflect the latest information received.
Support and monitor operational cycle development. Analyze areas to improve.
Work with the commercial automotive control tower to implement and apply procedures.
Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting Business.
Maintaining the data in the above-mentioned operational system.
Perform ad hoc reports to support the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Excel.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal skills in Italian and English, ple orientated and used to travelling and interacting with other cultures.
Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

At least high school diploma.
Complete MS Excel experience and management is required.
Fluency in English, both written and oral is a must (at least B2).
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork.
Proficient in MS Office Applications.
Others: SAP or ITMS or Cargo wise (desirable).
Others:
Knowledge or experience in international freight forwarding.
