Residential Repairman

Position: Property Maintenance Technician
Location: Tupelo, MS
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

We are hiring a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to support residential properties in Tupelo, MS. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who takes pride in quality work and maintaining safe, well-kept properties. Apartment or residential maintenance experience is required. HVAC experience is a plus but not mandatory.

• Complete general maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting
• Address routine service requests and respond to emergency maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled property inspections
• Maintain exterior areas, including light landscaping and minor structural repairs
• Coordinate with property management and residents to resolve maintenance concerns
• Maintain clean, organized tools, equipment, and work spaces
• Track completed work orders and materials used
• Follow all safety standards, policies, and building regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Minimum of 2 years of property maintenance experience required
• Experience in apartment communities or residential housing strongly preferred
• Basic HVAC knowledge is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Consistent and reliable work history

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work safely on ladders
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation

• Day shift
• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts available
• Monday through Friday
