Warehouse Coordinator:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading shipments
- Packaging parts once received into inventory
- Transporting parts/crates to/from GDC
- Transporting shipments to applicable ship centers
- Disassemble sub-assembly components as required
- Assist in the scrapping of assets deemed scrap, BER, and/or unsalvageable
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Analyze data, identify errors, and work autonomously towards solutions
- Work effectively against critical deadlines and multi-task
- Collaborate well within a team setting
- Be goal-oriented, persuasive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Follow instructions and take directions from management
- Take ownership and meet deadlines, ensuring tasks are completed ("Close the loop")
- Pay attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Maintain integrity and trustworthiness
- Align with the UAM culture, demonstrating a down-to-earth personality
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Respect diverse peoples and cultures
- Be willing to ask for help when needed
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Pass background and drug screening
- Strives for continuous improvements to increase efficiencies in the Disassembly Center
- Strong forklift skills and experience
- Communicate effectively with other UAM departments, as needed
- Familiarity with UAM’s Quality Control Manual and all related policies and procedures
