The position is available in multiple locations, with a preference for candidates based in Texas, Tennessee, Tampa, Raleigh, or Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in patent preparation and prosecution and a strong ability to work independently.

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in the electrical and computer science fields.
• Collaborate with clients to develop patent strategies.
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Manage a portfolio of patent cases independently.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Strong preference for candidates with a portable business of $500k or more.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to a state bar.
• Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
