Addiction Services Therapist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Addiction Services Therapist to help lead Lifecore Addiction Services to excellence by providing clinical services within residential and/or outpatient for substance abuse/mental health. Assist individuals and families within the elements of Recovery Oriented Systems of Care.

Promote LIFECORE Addiction Services in a professional manner at community events and networking opportunities.

Serve as a recovery agent by providing and advocating for any effective recovery-based services that will aid the client in daily living.

Work with the treatment team to develop a treatment/recovery plan based on each client's identified goals.

Provide clinical services that include individual, family, and group therapy to individuals and families with substance abuse, mental or emotional and/or physical/emotional problems.

Maintain a working knowledge of current trends and developments in the mental health field and attend continuing education seminars and other training when offered and authorized.

Must maintain 25 hours of billing productivity per week.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Master's degree in Counseling or a related field
• Valid state licensure as a Therapist or ability to obtain licensure
• Proven experience in clinical counseling and therapy
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions
  
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational skills for effective case management
• Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
