Kitchen Designer

Overview

Designer role at The Home Depot in Tumwater, WA. Designers support three primary store priorities:
Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. Designers provide fast, thorough, and friendly service to customers by welcoming them to the store, assessing kitchen and/or bath project needs, providing showroom tours, setting up measures, reviewing room designs, and making purchasing recommendations. They support In Stock by assessing stock levels of samples and brochures and restocking as necessary, and support Store Appearance by ensuring special order displays and showrooms promote a shopping environment that is appealing and safe.

By supporting these priorities, Designers drive sales to support department and store goals.

• Provide fast, thorough, and friendly service; welcome customers; assess kitchen and/or bath project needs; provide showroom tours; set up for kitchen and/or bath measures; meet with customers to go over room designs and make purchasing recommendations.
• Assess stock levels of samples and brochures and restock as necessary to support In Stock initiatives.
• Ensure special order displays and showrooms promote an appealing and safe shopping environment to support Store Appearance.
• Drive sales to support department and store goals.

Base pay range: $21.00/hr – $21.00/hr pay is based on position offered and market location, and may vary by knowledge, skills, experience, and availability.
