Aerotek on behalf of its clients are looking for Machine Operators in the Tumwater/Olympia area.

These roles are contractor hire positions

Pay 22 an hour dependent on experience

Job Title:
Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality output.

• Operate and adjust manufacturing machines according to production specifications
• Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Monitor product quality and make adjustments to maintain standards
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and elevate when needed
• Maintain accurate production and equipment logs
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and measurements
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer or control‑panel operation skills
• Willingness to work overtime or shifts as needed

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tumwater, WA.

The pay range for this position is $22.75 – $22.75/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Tumwater,WA.
