Salary Range: $8,950 - $9,834 per month
This recruitment is being reopened to broaden the applicant pool. The Department of Corrections is hiring for a Community Corrections Supervisor to support the Domestic Violence Treatment Program (DVTP). The DVTP delivers and implements evidence-based assessment and treatment practices and provides operational support to facilitate participation in treatment designed to decrease recidivism and increase safety for staff, clients, and the public.
The Community Corrections Supervisor is responsible for contributing to community and public safety by ensuring DVTP providers treatment and organizational practices reflect the organization s values, goals, and initiatives.
The Reentry Division implements evidence-based practices and supports incarcerated and supervised individuals in participation in and/or access to evidence-based interventions and promising practices designed to decrease recidivism and increase safety. The department collaborates with criminal justice partners to conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to address risks and needs across the continuum in the least restrictive setting required for protection of staff, incarcerated individuals, and the public.

ResponsibilitiesCommunity Corrections Supervisor duties include:
- Supervise and manage staff, facilities, and work performed in Domestic Violence Treatment Program.
- Monitor individual employee performance to ensure it meets standards and policies; conduct caseload audits, monitor treatment progress, complete documentation, and consult with stakeholders.
- Conduct timely employee performance evaluations and provide coaching, training, and career development opportunities.
- Train new staff on laws, department policy, and process changes; keep staff informed of developments in direction, law, and policy.
- Manage staff schedules including leave and overtime according to guidelines and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
- Conduct site visits, participant documentation reviews, and direct observation of DVTP activities to meet program standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on DVTP development, administration, and management for adults in community corrections statewide.
- Direct analysis of risk/needs/requirements to inform DVTP implementation using OMNI and other tools.
- Report to Reentry leadership on DV programming gaps and provide DVTP expertise to other departments.
- Assess sites for ongoing process improvement; incorporate feedback from research consultants to ensure desired programming effects; ensure compliance with DVTP standards statewide.
- Identify training needs and coordinate resources/trainings with stakeholders and administration.
- Provide coaching on interventions, therapeutic rapport, assessments, and documentation.
- Routinely assess skill and professional competence; provide consultation and supervision as needed.
- Plan, assign, and review work; take corrective action and initiate investigations when necessary.
- Coordinate, present, and facilitate workshops on DVTP and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with researchers to stay current on literature; provide introductory training on DVTP and related interventions.
- Coordinate training with survivor service stakeholders.
