The Division of Credit Unions is recruiting a Credit Union Complaint Analyst (Management Analyst
3). You will respond to consumer complaints, research applicable consumer protection laws, and write letters explaining resolution of the complaint to all parties involved.

What You Will Do:
  • Respond to consumer complaints by gathering information from the consumer and credit union and researching applicable consumer protection laws.
  • Assist in resolving issues and providing direct customer service.
  • Compose letters to complainants explaining resolution of the complaint.
  • Provide support for all aspects of safety and soundness exams of 48 credit unions.
  • Request information in advance of exams, sending final exam reports, setting up a secure portal for exam information and sending post exam surveys.
  • Act as the division’s Travel Coordinator by scheduling travel for and preparing Travel Authorization requests on behalf of division staff.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
Duty Station and Travel Requirements:

A hybrid work schedule is available with two remote days and three in office days in the Tumwater Headquarters Building. This position offers a flex schedule with one day off every other week, with the specific day to be determined by your supervisor.

Applicants that reside in Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, and Grays Harbor counties will be given preferred consideration. Applicants that reside outside of those counties will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
