Job Summary

As a Truck Driver, you will operate various trucks to safely transport dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and equipment to multiple job sites. You’ll also contribute to yard operations, managing stockpiles and moving materials as needed.
What You'll Do- Drive trucks safely and professionally on highways, local roads, job sites, and in the yard
- Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and maintain DOT‑compliant documentation
- Check vehicle functions (fluid levels, tires, lights, controls) for optimal operation
- Attach and detach trailers (pup, belly dump, side dump, transfer, tilt/transport) as needed
- Keep detailed delivery logs and complete billing paperwork accurately
- Load and unload equipment and materials efficiently
- Monitor gauges and controls throughout operation
- Maintain mileage logs and ensure vehicles are clean and orderly
- Use tarps to cover loads when required
- Uphold product quality standards and assist with minor maintenance; report major issues
- Follow all safety protocols and report concerns
- Obey traffic laws and dispatch instructions
- Be a team player and support co‑workers
- Commit to dependable attendance and schedule flexibility
- High school diploma or GED required
- CDL A or B license required;
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred - Minimum 2 years experience in dump/tractor/trailer driving preferred, motivated candidates welcome
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks
- Valid MVR meeting company and DOT standards
- Strict commitment to safety and compliance
- Professional, courteous attitude toward colleagues, supervisors, and public
- Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary
- Prepared to wear PPE per OSHA/MSHA protocols (face shield, safety shoes, coveralls, etc.)
- Expertise in safe truck and equipment operation
- Basic math and accurate record keeping
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Detail‑oriented with good judgment and problem‑solving skills
- Experience securing heavy equipment and oversized loads is a plus
- Professional interaction with customers, payment collection, and problem resolution
Work Environment Requirements
- Frequent climbing, balancing, and tasks requiring physical agility
- Regular sitting, climbing, and use of hand signals or equipment; occasional standing, walking, crawling, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, or reaching above shoulder height
- Lift and move objects up to 25‑50 lbs as needed
- Work primarily outdoors in extreme weather and environmental conditions
- Exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments
- Specific vision abilities required to operate equipment safely
