Job SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This role ensures timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery while maintaining strong communication with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate shipments and track deliveries to ensure on-time performance
- Schedule transportation and communicate with carriers and freight providers
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management
- Resolve shipping issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate logistics records and update internal systems
- Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to support operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination
- Understanding of freight scheduling and trucking operations
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience updating and maintaining shipments within a TMS
