Ground Ops Specialist –

- Coordinate Ground Operations activities via email, phone, or fax, including but not limited to:
- Ground handling orders
- Catering orders
- Aircraft cleaning (transit/full/agricultural/heavy)
- Customs and/or landing rights requests
- Base access requests (coordination with bases and stations)
- Airport slots and/or gates
- Approved travel requests from Ground Operations personnel
- Flight memos (coordination with flight crew and supporting personnel)
- Assist system control and other departments during irregular operations.
- Comply with all applicable OAI manuals, local laws & regulations, and prevailing authorities.
- Maintain certifications and training which at a minimum shall include:
Ground Operations Specialist (GOS) and Quality Assurance Auditor. - Perform duties assigned or delegated by the supervisor or manager of Ground Operations.
- Valid driver’s license; passport preferred (light travel required).
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to multi‑task, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
- Computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Pass a 10‑year background/criminal check and pre‑employment drug screen.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- Associate’s degree or 2 years of aviation experience (preferred).

- Ability to handle numerous activities at one time.
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
- Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
- Ability to apply common sense in performing job.
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
