Delivery Specialist

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held device to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and complete daily inspections before operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete driver's return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and errands.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

• Required:
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
  • Driving record that meets the company 14/18‑point record system.
  • Possession of a legally required state driver's license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.
• Desired:
  • Familiarity with automotive parts.
  • Ability to operate other light store equipment.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
