* Essential Responsibilities:

*** Operate Class A CDL semi-trucks to transport HVAC units and materials
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
* Load and unload HVAC equipment using forklifts or other machinery
* Secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
* Deliver products to job sites, distribution centers, or clients as scheduled
* Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery status
* Assist with general yard or shop duties when not driving
* Maintain cleanliness and routine servicing of assigned vehicle

* ** Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment** -- Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts and passenger vehicles.
* ** Documenting/Recording Information** -- Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
* ** Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment** -- Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical (not electronic) principles.
* ** Handling and Moving Objects** -- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
* ** Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material** -- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
* ** Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates** -- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

* Education and Experience Requirements:

*** Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
* Minimum 3 years of experience driving semi-trucks
* Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening and physical
* Experience with HVAC equipment or heavy machinery preferred
* Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
* Forklift certification is a plus

*** Ability to sit for long periods.
* Visual, auditory, and driving skills
* Ability to communicate effectively
** Work Environment:
*** Frequent travel is required, including long-haul trips.
* Incumbent may visit manufacturing plants and warehouses with potential exposure to climate, dust, chemical fumes, noise, and forklift traffic.
