Role DescriptionThis is an internship role for a Performance Coach, based on-site in Tulsa, OK. The Performance Coach will assist in developing and implementing sport-specific training programs, coach speed training, mentor athletes to help them reach performance goals, and refine their skills through strength and conditioning sessions. Additionally, responsibilities will include evaluating athletic performance, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring proper techniques and safety standards during all sessions.
Collaboration with a team and maintaining a positive environment are key aspects of this role.
- Skills in Coaching and Athletic Performance to guide, motivate, and support athletes in meeting their physical and mental goals.
- Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning concepts to create effective workout and improvement programs.
- Experience in Training and hands-on practice for athletes to ensure proper form, technique, and injury prevention (preferred, not required).
- Familiarity with Business Coaching to develop leadership and organizational strategies for team success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with athletes and team members.
- Background in sports science, kinesiology, or a related field is a plus.
