Mobility is accepting applications to join our team as a Mobility Specialist. As a Mobility Specialist, you will provide service and support to our customers by evaluating, servicing and installing mobility products and equipment. Our product line consists of Ramps, Stairlifts, Vehicle Lifts, Platform Lifts, Elevators and other items intended to increase mobility options for our customers.
(Easier than it looks if mechanical or construction mindset) Provides installation, service, repair and instruction of use for mobility products and equipment. Assist with home remodeling for ease of access for disabled persons. Schedules service calls and deliveries based on work orders. Installation of ramps, vertical platform lifts, patient lifts, auto lifts, elevators and related products. Contacts customers through the phone and in person to provide technical service support.
Thoroughly trains customers how to use the product(s) in a safe manner. Evaluates the customers environment for effective means for installation of mobility products. Maintains warehouse inventory in an organized and efficient manner. Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. Coordinates daily work efforts with all aspects of the organization. Identifies and adheres to safe workplace practices and observance of OSHA regulations.
Transport products in a company vehicle in a safe and courteous and legal manner. Utilizes the proprietary operating system to record customer interactions, upload pictures and other related paperwork, set and review scheduled appointments. Safely load equipment in an orderly and secure manner in accordance with policies.
The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and enjoys puzzles and problem-solving.
Responsibilities- Travel to businesses and job sites
- Talk with clients to assess their needs
- Conduct repairs or basic maintenance on mobility products at clients location
- Install mobility products to include lifts, ramps, elevators, etc. at clients location
- Occasionally taking payments
- Previous experience in mechanical repair, electrical repair or home remodeling desired
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with basic computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite
