As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by applying commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and support repair work orders for stores and store associates, documenting repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• Individual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, job level, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
• Eligible for bonus incentive.
