The electrical journeyperson is expected to perform a variety of duties including completing all assigned work orders in a timely manner, reporting labor, cost and any pertinent notes/information regarding all assigned work orders, and returning to the foreperson daily. Must be conscientious, have experience in all areas of job responsibilities, and exhibit good workmanship.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

• One (1) year of experience or general knowledge of the electric trade or willingness to learn

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:

• Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current and valid Oklahoma driver’s license with no restrictions that would preclude driving on the job
• Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current and valid State Electrician Craftsperson card
• Ability to learn or perform routine preventative maintenance on all electric equipment is a plus
• Knowledgeable of current city codes is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Office Suite or willing to learn
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. assisted
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds
