Scaffold BuilderThis person will supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures. Other duties may be assigned.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities- Work at heights with no fear.
- Determine type of scaffold needed and properly instruct on its installation.
- Oversee transport of tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold as instructed.
- Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
- Properly secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
- Secure the scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
- Adhere to all OSHA, site‑specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating the scaffolding.
- Supervise the dismantling of scaffolding when it has been properly communicated to do so.
- Inspect and properly stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
- Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education – No minimum education requirements.
- Experience – 3–5 years of Journeyman level experience.

- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
