Technician - Level 3

Overview

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician. This role performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment to avoid downtime. Our fleet primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment; specialty lines locations may have large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and make complex repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.
• Work with a fleet that includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and related equipment; some locations may include generators, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment.
• Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models and equipment; develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management; collaborate with an experienced team in a safety-focused environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred

• May need to provide tools of the trade
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors when required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

Base pay range: $23.58 - $32.41 per hour.
