Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response instructions;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to the appropriate contacts;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity;
Monitor entry points, gates, and restricted areas; verify credentials and/or vehicle authorization as required by site policies;
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and report maintenance concerns such as damaged fencing, lighting outages, and/or hazards to the designated point of contact
