We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations by receiving, logging, tracking, and preparing oil samples for analysis
. The Lab Assistant will ensure accurate documentation, proper sample handling, and compliance with all safety and quality standards.

• Receive, inspect, and log oil samples into LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
• Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation
• Prepare samples for testing (labeling, mixing, aliquoting, filtering, heating as required)
• Store and dispose of samples according to procedures
• Support lab technicians with daily operations
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• High school diploma required
• Laboratory or science background preferred
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
