Corn Fed Dairy Cattle Sales Nutritionist
A fast-growing company is seeking a self-driven sales nutritionist, able to cover a large territory and have a vast knowledge of corn-fed dairy cattle nutrition and feed additives.
The company is expanding and is looking for a technical territory dairy cattle nutritional sales rep to cover Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and parts of Colorado
. Ideally the candidate will come with a book of business and standing relationships in the nutritional dairy industry. A degree is preferred but not required as the owner finds hands-on knowledge and experience just as valuable as a formal education.
Candidates applying should have existing relationships with feed nutrition companies, be familiar with ruminant VFA's and probiotics used in corn fed dairy cattle. Beef cattle knowledge is a bonus but not required.
Key requirements- 5 to 10 years of corn-fed dairy cattle farming and nutrition experience.
- Knowledge of immune stimulant additives for heat stress.
- Probiotic administration in corn fed dairy cattle.
- A full understanding of lactic acid, acidosis and gluconeogenesis pathways in corn fed dairy cattle.
- Able to work 100% independently with an ownership mentality and able to cover a multi-state territory.
- Must currently reside in the U.S. and have a valid drivers license
