Territory Manager, Medical Dermatology - Tulsa, OK
OBJECTIVEThe Sun Medical Dermatology Territory Manager promotes Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizes business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics and institutions that specialize in medical dermatology. The Territory Manager demonstrates excellence in developing and implementing territory business plans that lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives. Responsibilities include coordination and integration with the HQ Commercial Team (Marketing, etc.)
and field-based employees (Field Reimbursement Managers, etc.) to effectively drive acceptance of promoted products within a designated business area and geography.
- Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales experience
- Strong communication skills and business acumen
- Ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt and deliver results
- Valid driver’s license
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience
- 3+ years medical dermatology sales experience
- Experience selling products in a complex Market Access environment
- Experience promoting high‑science products
- Product launch experience
- Experience selling in a highly competitive environment
This individual must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals. The individual should be highly motivated, highly professional, capable of building trust with their matrix team and transparent, ethical and compliant in all activities. The individual should be proficient at selling and presenting detailed scientific subject matter in a clear and understandable fashion.
GENERALRESPONSIBILITIES/DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY
- Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager
- Responsible for the understanding and leveraging CRM, sales data, and reports
- Responsible for timely call reporting and expense reporting
- Responsible for managing promotional budgets within their territory
- Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Reports to Regional Sales Manager
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS:
Interacts at multiple levels inside and outside the company. Tact, diplomacy, and a high level of professionalism are essential.
The anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $94k to $136k. Actual base compensation may vary based on location and experience. The position is part of an IC Commission Plan and eligible for company employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and an employee assistance program. Employees also receive paid time off benefits including vacation and sick time.
