Outside Sales Representative - Southwest Territory (AZ, NM, OK, TX)

Location: Hybrid/Remote

Travel Req: Based in the Southwest Territory (AZ, NM, OK, TX). Up to 75% of travel required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.

Position Summary

As the Southwest Outside Sales Representative, you’ll drive growth by cultivating strong customer relationships and expanding market presence. Leveraging your expertise in hydronics and product knowledge, you’ll deliver solutions that outshine competitors and exceed sales goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Champion Safety First - Lead by example with a safety-first mindset in every task and interaction.
  • Client Acquisition:
    Identify, qualify, and build relationships with prospective customers to grow market share and to showcase American Wheatley’s features, benefits, and product lines.
  • Territory Management:
    Develop and execute territory plans, including account classifications, target accounts, and growth strategies.
  • Account Leadership:
    Manage customer relationships through training sessions, growth strategies, and proactive needs assessment.
  • Sales Performance:
    Support company goals, consistently meet or exceed sales objectives, and achieve annual growth targets.
  • Cross-Team

    Collaboration:

    Partner with internal departments to align costs, scheduling, and project execution.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Conduct regular account visits, attend trade shows, and represent American Wheatley at customer events.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Maintain detailed account profiles including contacts, call reports, growth potential, market share, and projections.
  • Travel flexibility:
    Commit to overnight travel (up to 75%) and occasional evening/weekend events as required.
  • Additional strategic initiatives as needed to support our growth.
