Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store fueling and non‑fueling demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of the products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Responsibilities- Possess aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation.
- Perform proper set‑up and preparation of the event table.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event fingertips.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.
Education / Experience
:
High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
:
Proficiency in using a personal computer or mobile device, navigating applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
:
Local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands
:
The associate will regularly stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladders, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart full of appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Language Skills
:
English primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Retail store environment with limited travel.
