Project Controls Specialists

$45.00/hr - $65.00/hr

• Responsible for setting up, tracking, forecasting, and reporting capital project AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) costs
• Recognize and alert Project Managers on cost issues and assist with developing AFE supplements if required
• Work with Project Managers and vendors to accurately forecast project cost on a monthly basis
• Take the lead on AFE preparation and submission to ensure budget, asset and expenditure information is correct
• Submit monthly accruals and work in progress comments to our Fixed Assets group

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (In order to convert with Marathon, candidates must be degreed)
• 4-10 years of experience in natural gas industry in an accounting, cost management, or contract's role
• Prior experience with Oracle and SAP a plus
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Access programs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
