• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade‑up and/or companion items.
• Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, distribute change as requested; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, superstructures, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement according to policies/procedures; aid stock rotation using FIFO method.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, deliver orders to customers as they arrive).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
