Role Overview

The Co Team Leader is required to provide leadership for the successful operation of the entire sales floor and receiving area. The team leader creates and leads a sales team that is passionate about selling merchandise and ensuring a good associate and customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports.
  • Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors and deliver exceptional associate and customer service experiences.
  • Ensure store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
  • Develop and execute talent planning to foster associate growth.
  • Ensure proper scheduling and staffing meet business needs.
  • Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed and any additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience at a medium to large retailer.
  • Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal periods.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.
