** Key Responsibilities
**** Customer Service & Order Taking
*** Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming experience
* Take food and ice cream orders accurately (in person and/or via phone or POS system)
* Answer menu questions and offer recommendations
** Cash Handling & POS Operations
*** Process payments, handle cash, credit, and digital transactions
* Issue receipts and ensure accurate change is given
* Follow proper cash drawer and register procedures
** Restaurant Support
*** Ensure the front counter, dining area, and beverage/condiment stations remain clean & stocked
* Work with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
* Assist with packaging take-out or delivery orders
** Team & Safety Standards
*** Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
* Support team members as needed during busy shifts
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude with customers and coworkers
** Qualifications
* ** Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required
* Basic math skills and comfort using a POS system
* Strong communication skills and a friendly personality
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
** Schedule & Work Conditions
*** Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* May require occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
