Job Responsibilities

Perform inspections of products, components, or processes at various stages of production or assembly to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and tests using calibrated equipment and tools to verify dimensional accuracy, material properties, and performance characteristics.

Follow established inspection procedures, checklists, and standards to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformances, and document findings accurately.

Record inspection results, including measurements, observations, and test data, in inspection reports or quality management systems for traceability and analysis.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to address and resolve issues identified during inspections, including implementing corrective actions and process improvements.

Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and quality management system standards.

Inspection of incoming material, work in process, finished products, manage relevant reports and records. Other work in shop as assigned by supervisor.
