Own and elevate a company-wide ISO 9001 quality management system.
Position SummaryThe Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining the company-wide Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements. This role drives continuous improvement through audit programs, corrective actions, supplier quality oversight, and quality metrics, while supporting manufacturing and operational teams with training, documentation, and process control.
The Quality Manager acts as the organization’s quality champion, partnering with internal stakeholders to strengthen quality culture, standardization, and performance across operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and manage company-wide quality system procedures and processes.
- Ensure continued compliance with ISO 9001 and support additional certifications and international quality requirements as needed.
- Serve as the quality champion by promoting, training, and supporting employees on quality initiatives and systems.
- Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to develop training and competency programs.
- Manage supplier certification requirements, including PPAP processes for customer authorization.
- Lead and maintain the internal audit program, including audit planning, execution, and reporting.
- Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and ensure effectiveness of implemented actions.
- Coordinate investigation and resolution of customer complaints and audit nonconformances.
- Improve and standardize process documentation to support consistency and compliance.
- Collect, analyze, and present quality metrics to leadership on a regular cadence.
- Maintain document control systems, including oversight of SharePoint-based quality documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using quality data and trend analysis.
- Lead and support one direct report.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in quality assurance and ISO 9001 management.
- ISO Lead Auditor training required; certification preferred.
- Strong ability to balance quality, cost, delivery, productivity, and process improvement goals.
