Description:

We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for night shifts.
The nurse will have the option of working 36 or 48 hours per week.
Candidates should have 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
The role requires basic to intermediate fetal monitoring skills.
Previous travel experience is preferred for this position.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients during labor and delivery.
The position requires the ability to monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormalities.
Skills in managing high-risk obstetric patients are essential.
The nurse should be proficient in performing sterile vaginal exams and triaging obstetrical patients.

Experience with assisting in vaginal deliveries and C-sections is necessary.
The role includes the administration of medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
Interdisciplinary support is available on the unit.
This position supports the care of adult patients.
