Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Surgery Circulator for an operating room position requiring ortho and neuro OR experience and the ability to take call and work holidays if needed.

Job Details

• Work in the operating room as a circulator nurse,

• Handles orthopedic and neuro surgical cases,

• Shift is from 06:30 to 19:00,

• Participation in on-call rotation is required,

• Holiday coverage may be required,

Job Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required,

• At least 1 year of relevant operating room experience required,

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required,

• Ortho and neuro operating room nursing experience needed,

• Nursys verification and current license required within 30 days prior to start,

• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address,

Additional Information

• Coordinates and implements patient care in the OR setting,

• Acts as the primary coordinator for well-coordinated surgical care,

• Requires strong critical thinking and ability to function independently in stressful situations,

• Must follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment,

• All applicants should only apply to one position within the system at a time,

• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate based on facility radius rules,

• Extension discussions are encouraged at least 45 days before contract end,

• Covid vaccination is not currently required,
