• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026)
• Role: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) / Obstetric Nurse / Perinatal Nurse (Travel Nurse)
• Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1900
• Unit: Labor & Delivery (15 beds) — maternal and newborn care, high-risk OB
• Scrubs: Provided
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or compact state (required at time of submission) — Registered Nurse licensure for travel nursing positions
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience as an obstetric/ perinatal nurse
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate fetal monitoring skills and experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
• Ability to float to similar units (Mother-Baby / Postpartum) as needed
• Must be able to work every other weekend

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns as a Labor & Delivery RN / obstetric nurse
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using EFM and internal monitoring
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, including VBAC, C-sections, and multiple births
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, antihypertensives, and Pitocin
• Support breastfeeding and lactation; provide postpartum and newborn care
• Perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE), triage obstetrical patients, and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, and IV teams
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered, and family-focused environment
