Bio Life Plasma Services collects high‑quality plasma to help produce life‑changing medicines. As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will support plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) and the Center Physician. Your responsibilities include ensuring donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. You will also assist with medical emergencies, vaccination programs, employee incidents, and pandemic coordination.
HowYou Will Contribute
- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- Evaluate and manage donor reactions as outlined in SOPs; follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies and coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs regarding unacceptable findings or medical/technical issues, ensuring donor safety and eligibility.
- Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation by occupational health/ER, referring to EHS guidance.
- Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats within the local community.
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate diploma from a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
- Current licensed or certified in the state of assignment: LPN or LVN.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Compensation & Benefits SummaryLocation:
USA – OK – Tulsa Hourly Wage Range: $23.85 – $32.79 (actual wage may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location).
Employees may be eligible for short‑term and long‑term incentives and a full benefits package, including 401(k), disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, company holidays, well‑being benefits, and up to 80 hours of sick time annually. New hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
