The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner (EMNP) role is a critical position within a fast-paced emergency healthcare team, combining advanced clinical skills with compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities- Comprehensive assessments
- Diagnosing acute conditions
- Developing treatment plans
- Prescribing medications
- Performing advanced procedures
- Collaborating with healthcare team members
- Educating patients
- Managing follow-up care
- Documenting records
- Responding to emergencies
- Board certification
- Master’s or doctorate in nursing
- Valid licensure
- Experience in emergency or critical care
- Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ENP, and BLS
- Strong decision-making, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- At least 5 years of emergency hospital experience
- Night shift availability
- In-person work required
- Ongoing professional development is emphasized
$80/hour
