RN - Emergency Room

Overview

RN - Emergency Room with sign-on bonus up to $20,000. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with OSUMC standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. The RN must provide care appropriate to the age of the patients on the assigned unit, demonstrate knowledge of growth and development over the life span, assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and identify patient requirements relative to age-specific needs.

The RN plans for provision of patient care, including development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with OSUMC standards, and adheres to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with OSUMC standards.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient’s age and developmental level.
• Assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret information to identify age-specific needs.
• Develop, modify, and implement the plan of care to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.
• Adhere to policies and procedures as described in Patient Care policies and procedures and comply with the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

  2-year/Associate Degree
• License/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current Oklahoma RN License
• BLS (upon hire)
• ACLS (within 90 days)
• PALS or ENPC (within 1 year)
• TNCC (within 1 year)
• Moderate Sedation (within 90 days)
