Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities- Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
- Must know the principles of growth and development over the life span, assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret appropriate information to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age‑specific needs.
- Plan for the provision of patient care, including the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
- Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current OK RN License
- BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- NRP certification obtained within 6 months of RN hire or transfer date.
- Unit‑specific certificates.
