Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring EP experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours per week, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Three-room lab utilizing IMPELLA, IABP, ROTAPRO, and LASER devices
• Cares for adult and geriatric cardiac patients needing diagnostic and interventional procedures for CAD, ACS, STEMI/NSTEMI, arrhythmias, heart failure, and vascular disease
• On-call required and 1 weekend per month (Friday-Sunday)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Provide care for cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Team operates in a three-room lab environment with advanced cardiac equipment
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Groups or travel pairs are not accepted
• No more than three days of requested time off will be auto-approved and none permitted during orientation

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• 1-2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac support devices (IMPELLA, IABP) preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
